Review :
Let the right one in is a 2004 vampire fiction novel by swedish writer. While horror plays an interesting role in the plot, it is more the horror of human beings--of their assault and bestiality--than it is the horror of vampires. Characters are written with a perfect alloy of sarcasm and clemency--with no character being truly bold and none being pure evil--and the stinginess and selflessness of the human condition are both given their claim. The setting is dusty realistic even when the plot can brink on the fantastical, and I would recommend this book not only to horror fans but also to a general reader.
Summary :
In the conurbation of Blackeberg in Stockholm, the twelve year-old Oskar is a abandoned and fugitive boy bulldoze in school by Conny and two other classroom fellows; at home, Oskar dreams on defending the trio of bullies. He befriends his twelve year-old next door neighbor Eli that only arrive during the night in the playground of their building. During the interval, Eli's father is a serial-killer who culvert the blood of his martyr to supply Eli, so she doesn't have to kill. Eli counsels Oskar to counter to Conny fighting back; however, he soon invents that she is a vampire and he feels agitation and intimacy for the girl.
